What is a host family?
A host family is above all welcoming an Au Pair into your home, like a new family member. The Au Pair will look after your children up to 30hrs per week giving you flexibility by giving you a better work life balance.

1. To Join We Hive, a host family should
- Have a completed profile on We Hive
- Have children under 18 years old
- Have a spare bedroom to welcome your au pair
- Allow for a budget to cover pocket money, insurance and language course
- Be willing to do a background check and give personal references
- Prepare to sign a contract with the au pair
- Register on We Hive as a Host Family
- Define your criteria
- Select au pairs and attend interviews
- Discuss your requirements with the au pair
- Sign the au pair contract
