Visa Regulations
Requirements for Au Pair
- You are aged between 18 and 30;
- Can’t be married or have children
- Have a travel Insurance
- Be able to pay for travel expenses
- Basic knowledge of Spanish
- Visa may be required for non-EU au pairs
- Health/travel insurance is recommended for au pair
- No Contract is compulsory for Spain, however We Hive recommends to use the official EU contract template to formalize daily tasks
Requirements for Family
- There are one or more children between 3 and under 18 living in your home
- The au pair must have her own room
- Family should speak Spanish
- Au pair stay should be at least for 3 months.
- Au pair should attend a language course.
- Au Pair salary should be a minimum of €280 Euros per month
- Daily working hours should not exceed 30 hours per week
- Allow for some extra spending like mobile phone, insurance, language course
