- Define the length of time and selection criteria for your future Au Pair
- Have a look at the Visa regulations per country.
- Think about the Au Pair duties that will form part of a contract between you and the Au Pair. Duties that you can discuss during the selection process.
- Decide on which room the Au Pair may stay, will she have to share a bathroom?
- Languages course, can you find a language course next to where you live as some au Pair visa may require an inscription to a course.
- Visit our security section and have a background check done to reassure the Au Pair
- Get ready to interview your au pair and prepare the relevant questions to ask the au pair like for example if she/he has some references from previous childcare experience.
- Think of preparing a welcome pack to introduce the au pair to the area, emergency numbers, activities to do with the children etc.
