Visa Regulations

You are aged between 18 and 30;
Not be married or have children
Good knowledge of English
Be able to afford the return ticket
Health/travel insurance is recommended for au pair
“Working Holiday” Visa is required for au pairs
Certain countries are only able to participate in the au pair program
Sufficient funds to cover your stay is required (around 2400 Euros)
No contract is needed for New Zealand, however We Hive strongly recommends to use the official EU contract template to formalize daily tasks

There are one or more children between 3 and under 18 living in your home
The au pair must have her own room
Daily working hours should not exceed 30 & 40 hours per week
Au pair is entitled to receive between 500 & 580 Euros per month
Allow for some extra spending like mobile phone, insurance, language course
